A dedicated Mysore style Ashtanga yoga practitioner since 2007, Sarah completed her teacher training in 2009 before going on to India . While working at Troyoga London Sarah completed her pregnancy yoga training and experienced, through becoming a mother herself, how yoga during pregnancy enabled her to have an active, enjoyable pregnancy, a natural, gentle birth and quick post-partum recovery.
Sarah’s classes are a gentle balance between a safe and uplifting flow while preparing our body and mind for the journey of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. Whether you have a yoga practice already or have never done yoga before Sarah’s classes are open to all levels and it is never too late to start!

Ashtanga yoga is an athletic and physically demanding form of yoga.
The foundation of this ancient system involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
This class will guide students through part of the primary series of Ashtanga yoga and is suitable for both the experienced practitioner and those who are fairly new to yoga, but familiar with sun salutations and some standing postures.
Be prepared to work hard as options will be provided to suit all levels!

PLEASE NOTE:

Listen to your body, yoga is meant to release tension not create more stress. Please notify the teacher if you’re pregnant or have any injuries.
