Ashtanga Yoga


This class is taught by:
Ashtanga yoga is an athletic and physically demanding form of yoga.
The foundation of this ancient system involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
This class will guide students through part of the primary series of Ashtanga yoga and is suitable for both the experienced practitioner and those who are fairly new to yoga, but familiar with sun salutations and some standing postures.
Be prepared to work hard as options will be provided to suit all levels!

PLEASE NOTE:

Listen to your body, yoga is meant to release tension not create more stress. Please notify the teacher if you’re pregnant or have any injuries.
